NIOS test centres are allocated to each student on the basis of preference chosen during NIOS admission 2022. So, there are very few chances of the change of exam centre. But students can apply for the same in extreme circumstances as explained below:
➛ If a student wishes to change his/her NIOS exam centre then he/she can apply for the same before the commencement of practical/theory examination of on-demand and public exams.
➛ He/she will have to contact the Department of Evaluation, NIOS and explain his/her reason for the change of NIOS exam centres 2022.
➛ The student will have to pay Rs. 1500 as application fee for change of exam centre.
➛ The exam centre may be changed after the approval of the Director of Evaluation department, NIOS. The decision of NIOS regarding the exam centre will be final.

NIOS Exam Center: Important Points
Here are some important points about the NIOS exam centres that a candidate needs to note.
➛ The candidate can select only the region. Based on the region selected, the NIOS will allocate the exam center present in that region.
➛ Candidates must reach the exam center before the reporting time. Otherwise, the authorities may not allow the candidates to enter the exam hall.
➛ The NIOS hall ticket will include the details regarding the name and address of the NIOS exam center.
➛ Candidates must not carry any electronic gadget to the NIOS exam center.
